About
Twenty years behind the makeup chair

It started about twenty years ago with a makeup brush and a camp play. Moshe Grunfeld was the makeup artist for a camp production — and he never left the chair. What began as one artist painting faces for a camp play grew into Punim Chadushes: a full production house for theatrical makeup, costumes, props and complete production design.
Today, Moshe and his team create the faces, garments and worlds for the Jewish world’s largest productions — for Interen, Epic and Kings, for films, camps, schools and Purim. Twenty years in, the standard hasn’t changed: when the curtain rises, the audience should see the character, not the actor.
Our work has been featured in Ami Magazine and Jew in the City.
